The Woodward 9907-164 is a 505 series digital governor, a microprocessor-based turbine controller built for steam turbines fitted with single or split-range actuators. Woodward 9907-164 delivers precision speed control, load control and cascade control for turbine generator sets, widely deployed in thermal power plants, CHP cogeneration, oil & gas and industrial steam systems. Woodward 9907-164 supports extraction and admission turbine control functions, capable of driving single or dual turbine actuators to regulate steam inlet valves.

The Woodward 9907-164 505 digital governor comes with a built-in 2-line × 24 character LCD display and 30-function membrane keypad. Operators can directly configure parameters, view real-time operating data, check fault alarms and perform turbine startup/shutdown locally on the unit. Woodward 9907-164 integrates RS-232 communication port, compatible with Woodward 505View configuration software for remote setup, data logging and system diagnostics.
